ACCREDITATION OF FOREIGN PRINCIPALS EMPLOYERS AND PROJECTS WITH NO Migrant Worker Office (MWO)

Section 1. Accreditation of Foreign Principals Employers and Projects. Foreign principals, employers or projects in countries or work sites where there are no Migrant Worker Office (MWO) to verify recruitment documents shall undergo accreditation at the DMW.

Section 2. Documentary Requirements for Accreditation. The principal / employer shall submit the following documents to the DMW through the Philippine licensed agency for evaluation and accreditation:

➤ Special Power of Attorney or recruitment agreement, or service agreement with the Philippine licensed agency;

➤ Master Employment Contract which incorporates, among others the minimum provisions of employment contract of land based workers, as follows:

⏹ Guaranteed wages for regular work hours and overtime pay, which shall not be lower than the prescribed minimum wage in the host country or not lower than the appropriate minimum wage standards set forth in a bilateral agreement or international convention, if applicable, or not lower than the minimum wage in the country, whichever is highest

⏹ Free transportation to and from the worksite, or offsetting benefit;

⏹ Free food and accommodation, or offsetting benefit;

⏹ Just/authorized causes for termination of the contract or of the services of the workers taking into consideration the customs, traditions, mores, practices, company policies and the labor laws and social legislations of the host country

➤Manpower Request Letter indicating the position and salary of the workers to be hired;

➤Valid Business License, registration certificate or equivalent document or proof existence of project validated or certified by the issuing authority in the host country; and

➤Visa assurance or any equivalent validated by the issuing authority.

➤ As we received your COMPLETE VERIFIED DOCUMENTS and you are a qualified applicant for an open position, Our office recruiter will contact you for an initial interview.

 

  1. Submission of required documents by applicants
  2. Medical Examination – Selected candidates will be subjected to a physical examination including laboratory test as necessary.
  3. Contract of Employment – Upon passing the required medical examination, the selected candidate will be given job offer for signing,
  4. Obtaining visas from country of Principal/Employer – if required, the client will secure the necessary working visas for the selected candidates for their base country,
  5. Visa Stamping – the passports of the selected candidates will be brought to the Embassy of the host country in the Philippines for submission for visa stamping.
  6. Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar (PDOS) – All Filipino overseas workers are required to attend PDOS. They will be provided with information about the country, information about the principal/employer, job expectations, details of their employment contract and other matters that could facilitate their adjustment to their new working environment. 2000 Miles Placement Agency, Inc. will arrange for this to be done.
  7. Flight Arrangements – 2000 Miles Placement Agency, Inc. will make travel arrangements and will confirm flight bookings with you, and provide extensive orientation for pre-departure.
  8. Departure for country of designation – Candidates will be dispatched to country of destination
